I have read the question. They want you to konw how many batches of cookies you can make from one bag of flour. I know you need 1 1/2 cups of flour to make 1 batch of cookies. There is 4 cups in 1 lb. of flour and there are 4 lbs. in 1 bag. I added 1 to 1/2 and did that 10 times. 1 + 1/2 = 1 1/2. I did that 10 times to get 10 batches with 1 cup left over to make another dessert.:]

step 1:(check)
ReplyDeletestep 2:how many batchs of cookies can she make from one bag of flour
step 3:I know that 11\2 cups of flour make one batch of cookies and each bag of flour is 4 pounds and each pound is one cup
step 4: you have to slit the 4 cups into halfs and then add the number of batchs up
step 5:1 pound=4 cups divied by 11/2=2 batchs than theres one left over by each batch to get 10
step 6: 10
#12
step 1 I read it.
ReplyDeletestep 2 How many batches of cookies can Allison bake.
step 3 I know each pound makes 2 baches.
step 4 1 pound= 2 baches + 1 extra cup.So you can x 2 and 4 to get 8 + 4 extra cups, and you can make 2 batches.Then you add 2 to 8.
step 5 I did 11/2=3 so I had 1 cup left over meaning I can get 2 batches per pound, and since there are 4 pounds in a bag I do 2x4=8+2(since there is 4 cups left over)= 10.
step 6 Allison can make 10 batches. 13
