Riding on a wagon all the way to sanfrainsisco looking for gold.I alexa is going to find gold.what I need is my gray shovle.Now its time to dig.I hit something after a while...it was...a peice of gold! yippy I found gold,but now its going to tak a long trip back. [:

I think I would see cows,grass and other prospectors(i think thats what there are called).I would see very few houses if the gold rush just started.i should see trees it'd be a miracle if i didnt. #2
ReplyDeleteAs i am on my way to california with my dad and my dog rusty to search for gold. We run into many things such as deserted towns that i figured were once boomtowns. We had been crossing the country we saw many mountians. Scince we were so far away from civilization every night sky was glitterd with amazing stars. My favorite time was at dawn and dusk when the purples of night and the oranges of day colided.

When i went across the country it was so darn dry. I bet if i didn't bring any food i would be dead. A animal i saw was a scorpian. It tried to sting me. It was the scariest thing in the world! i also incountered a rode runner. That thing is fast my gosh.Its probubly faster than my dads car.

I would travel by sea because it is the easest route and there was usally a good supply of food and water. Boat was also dangres though. The boats could tip it could could flood or even catch on fire! One thing I think I would see sharks dolfins and whales. I also think when I get on land I would see maybe some rattle snakes and moutain lions.

I think it will be fun I kind of always wanted to go back in time. I think I'll see Jack Rabbits and gophers and maybe even a panther. I'll proplemly will also see people sense every one wants gold. I think I'll need a big shady hat with that hot weather and the bright sun. I'll be riding a horse because I will not walk like 3,000 miles.Thats what I think will happen if I were going to the gold rush.
ReplyDeleteOne day my jurney was to get to the gold rush in 1849.My hear sweating as i carry 2 bags of water and food.I brrought jimmy my partner coming with me with goods.As i saw the sigh that said"California" I was exsited to get to the mineing ground.I got there I got 6 nuggets in the gold mines.I had a rugged time getting back home.

If I travled from the east to California I would proabably see jackrabbits, wagon trains, rattlesnakes, other people traveling to California and lot's of other things. It would be cool to see everything.
ReplyDeleteIn the 1800s it was probably hard to hunt for gold. People who hunted for gold saw the ocean-blue sky and more. Once some strated diging they would hit 100 ft. They would have found dirty gold and siver.

If I were to travle around the world to find gold i think i would see old cows, lots of old houses, and some other travlers. Maybe some ponds too. I think that i would run into some of my neighbors or prospectors. #3
ReplyDeleteIf I could go back in 1849 to the California gold rush I would probably see people traveling in wagons and looking for gold. They would be stopping by rivers to pan for gold. Then I would see the people selling their gold for money. Then they would use their money to build new houses and towns. I might also see a snake oil sales man trying to con people out of their money. I might see some bears in the mountain too. 17
